The fossils found here have helped shed light on the history of evolution and how the earth and animals have come to be the way they are today. A wide array of marine animals have been fossilized in this area, some even originating from over 540 million years long ago.


WILDLIFE
The Icefields Parkway gives visitors a chance to experience the beauty and vastness of the Canadian Rockies by driving through this wildlife area. Many say that it is one of the most beautiful drives to go on, with no other road matching this view of amazing mountains rising up out of the ground.
